DAY 01 : Cusco- Thermal Baths De Lares -Huacawuasi
We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning at 03:45 AM. We will head straight toward Lares (hot springs) the estimated time of our journey is 4 hours, and we will be going in private transportation. Along the way we are going to pass through the highest point 4265 m. at this point it will be possible to see a few glacier such as sawasiray and pitusiray. We then descend into the warm valley of Lares at a height of 3207 m.; there we have lunch at around midday. You will have the opportunity to visit the thermal baths and walk around the area. After a good rest we will start climbing up from 3207 (Lares) to 3650 above sea level (Huacawasi) (4 hours), the road is not difficult and during this trail we will observe the variety of vegetation and wildlife found in the valley. The climate is excellent which will make for a comfortable journey, and you will also have the chance to appreciate the agriculture that the villagers use and how they take care of the cows and the llamas. After a good day’s walk we arrive at our first camp site "Wacawuasi" this is a charming little community where you will be able to see houses that are built of rustic materials such as mud bricks.
We’ll will enjoy a nice dinner there and go to bed early in our comfortable tents, in preparation for the next day’s early departure.

DAY 02 : Huacawasi - Miskyunuyoc
We’ll wake up early and, after a good breakfast we will set out for our trek. We will continue our hike towards the mountain pass of Huacawasi (4500m/ 12,467 ft.), which offers impressive views of both sides of the pass. Along the path we only have high Andean vegetation, roads and pre-Hispanic houses made by the Huacawasi villagers. We will have ample opportunity to see plenty of South American camels (llamas and alpacas), for which Peru is famous for. When we arrive at the pass, you will be able to see the majestic lake called Auroray (Blue Lagoon) which was formed after water came down from the Pumahuanca snowy mountain and at this lake we will stop for our lunch. After lunch we start walking again for around an hour and a half to reach our second camp site which is Miskiunuyoc which is close to the community of Manatnay located at 3800 m. / 12,467 ft.

DAY 03: Miskyunuyoc - Yanahuara - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
The wakeup call will be at 06:00 am and after a healthy breakfast at 08:00 am in the morning we will be ready to start our third day of hiking toward Yanahuara (2950 m) a beautiful town with an excellent climate, located in the Urubamba Valley. This place is considered to be the major supplier of food products of Cusco, with vast fields of corn and vegetables. On this day we will walk down for around 3 to 4 hours, and during the hike we can marvel at the famous forest of Qeuñua which is protected by the Peruvian government. We hike on until we see the beginning of the village of Yanahuara, where will we stop for lunch. After lunch we will take transportation from Yanahuara (bus) to Ollantaytambo where we take the train to Aguas Calientes, (depending on the train time table) after a 2 hour train ride we arrive at the small town of Aguas Calientes. Here we will provide you with a room in a hostel which includes a private bathroom, and we’ll have dinner in a local restaurant. Our guide will then give us a briefing about the next day.

DAY 04 : Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco
 With another early rise, we go to the bus station to take the bus to Machu Picchu. This bus takes 25 minutes by uneven track, where we will do tour of the Inca citadel, your tour guide will guide you around for about two and a half hours, to show you the most important sectors of this beautiful and enigmatic Inca citadel and then you will have some free time to wander, explore and take photos. Or alternatively you could decide to climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu (tickets required), where you can see spectacular panoramic views of Machu Picchu, the valleys and mountains that surround it, or visit the Temple of the Moon or the great Inca Bridge. In the afternoon, we will meet in the town of Aguas Calientes, where if you want, you can visit and relax in its hot springs. From here we take the train back to Cusco, and we drop you off at your hotel / hostel. Travel time 4 hours. End of our services.

- A Sleeping bag, a backpack for hiking, 2 pairs pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 4-poles (long and short), several pairs of socks, Sandals, towels, toilet paper, gloves, thermal jacket, a hat for cold days, sunglasses and sunscreen for when the sun comes out.
- A liter bottle of water.
- A Flashlight with spare batteries, matches, knives.
- Hiking boots (preferably waterproof with ankle protection).
- Insect repellent, cream to hydrate the face and/or body.
- A Raincoat (poncho for rain).
- Energy foods (dried fruits, candies, chocolates, cookies, etc...).
- Soap and other toiletries and clothes to change.
- Swimsuit (recommended for the hot springs).
- You should bring appropriate clothing for both hot and cold days of the tour.
- Also, depending on your interest, you could bring a camera or camcorder, binoculars, compass; all such equipment should be lightweight.
